Event: WCOC Huntington State Park
Orienteering race 49:34 [4] 7.4 km (6:42 / km) +230m 5:48 / km
shoes: Inov Oroc 280 2014
WCOC local event in Huntington state park
First orienteering run since beg of Oct.
Map is awesome to run and the forest is just very enjoyable to start the season. Pretty much no snow left and sight was great.
O-technique and especially physique a bit rusty but overall a good start.
Some uncertainties in keeping direction (largest to 9) a couple of times hesitant around the circle (e.g 8,11). The good sight prevented larger mistakes.
