Wiler OL Alp Sellamatt

Nice race in prealpine area. Some fog and visibility of around 100m made it even more interesting.

Made a 2' mistake to the 2nd (came to a control at the cliff just outside the circle and did an extra loop until I could relocate) but had afterwards an OK race with 4-5 times 20-30sec. Was struggling physically the longer it went to push through the wet grassland and marshes. More of those races!

ROLV relay - 1 leg
Nice orienteering even though rather easy. Still managed to do a 40sec mistake in the open and the physical shape didn't feel very good. We lost the connection to the earlier group with the 40sec mistake and afterwards where continuously a little slower.

Took myself out of the race already until the 2. control where I lost 1min...

Was looking forward to finally run another long distance course. But...
Didnt run the leg to the 4th very clean and added another 30sec to the 5th.
On the long leg to the 5th when I was pre-reading I also had to realize that the course will be very disappointing with large parts on the tracks and no real route choices.
As of there it was running only and I found it very difficult to focus on orienteering.
Lost 1min each to the 10th and the 14th uphill where I lacked completely the motivation.
45sec mistake to the 19th (went straight instead of staying longer on the path) and another 1min to the 23th (30sec stupidly on the road and 30sec in the circle) and finally I was in the finish.
A race to forget and look forward to some nice orienteering in Alp Selamatt and Engadin

Running intervals 48:34 intensity: (6:00 @2) + (27:34 @3) + (15:00 @5) 11.0 km (4:25 / km) +50m 4:19 / km

Morning session around Sihlsee.
Finally felt like doing an intervall session again and decided to go for a 5x3min with 90sec jogging break.

Nice to see that I had very few variation of 820 to 840m per session (2 and 3 had each 10m climb)
Speed was with 3.34 to 3.40min per k not really high but I guess for a first intervall session since a couple of years something I could build on.
Some shorter&faster sessions will probably be needed to get me out of the comfort zone
