Hickory Sand Spring

Still waiting for a somewhat clean run in this type of terrain.
Also today I messed up already to the 2nd where I overshoot grossly (7.5min) - only then realized that it is a 1:10k not 1:15k. The re-entrants were much softer than expected - probably due to all the additional 2.5m contours I expected much more downhill while in fact 1 to 2 is only around 60m.
Missed the control in the bushes with the first attempt just go back to where I was (2.5, total 10min to 2nd)
Lost (and found again) a contact lense to 3 plus overshot again. As of then slower and cleaner but still a couple of 30sec swings in the circle.
Got stuck badly again in the green to 19.

Note

Only realizing now that the 2.5m support contours are applied pretty much consistently on this map, making it rather a 2.5m contours map than a 5m.

Evening run in the sourland mountains.
Nice company out on the trail for a couple of k's until I had to slow down a bit.

Note

Bugger - what started with some pain during the run when i stumbled over a small rock on the trail looks more like a broken toe by now.
At least it's the middle one so not too much damage done and a solid taping of two toes together should do it.
