Orienteering 48:18 [4] 4.9 km (9:51 / km) +30m 9:34 / km

SW Epping - Shame about the map and got off to poor start. Apart from being dozy at 2, didn't do too much wrong, except not trusting my instincts.
1 - unmarked large path threw me paused at a control within circle, doubled back later 90s, 2 - went to 11 saw wrong code and took another minute to realise 90s, 4 - extra paths -30s, 7 - should have gone to obvious place at control -20s, 11 went on unmarked path even though the other one was going in the right direction (!) relocated quickly due to wanderings near 2 -45s, 12 a knoll in walk, took accurate bearing and missed, doubled back and came in a line back 30m to west and found it -90s at least (bingo control). Was struggling to motivate after 2. Felt less crappy/unfit than last week, backing off after 2 helped. Sunny day, enjoyable MR apart.

Lead from #3-10!, lost only 60s on 2, 11 - 60s, 12 - 120s. The 3 controls that caused the problems on the course were in walk (9&12) and 1 (missing large path) and were not used at the last event. Ranking pts should be interesting & flattering.
