SLOW - Tilford 3hr SAF score 316 pts, highest was 470. 67% (same as target)
That went very well considering it had rained hard all night, rained throughout and the wind averaged 25 gusting to over 40. 24hrs before I'd have given 25% chance of starting & finishing as achilles was far from OK. Iced twice daily all week and spent 4 hrs walking around hilly Sculpture Park the day before.
2(22) - chain jammed in cranks - 4 mins. Front brake rubbed.Not the best start.
4(31) - Hankley deep wet sand walked hill.
6(33) - Thursley, dire wet broken sand (hoofs), but made it through slowly. 1hr 37 elasped time.
Things improved when changing to blue controls, 7 retraced route and was more confident.
7(37) - Overshot, possibly because I thought I knew where the control was from going to 6. -7mins!!
Lots of road from 7 with firmer tracks and scored well in last 75 mins.
10(27) - Overshot, even though I half saw it and ended in garden. -3mins.
11(26) - Going via road might have been quicker, but rode it well.
14(34) - Out and back for 30 pointer. 3.19 late which cost me just 4pts.

Got the right route for me and didn't fall off and ended with 30 pointer.
Pleased with decisions and mental approach of going with the flow.

Things to improve: Need descriptions handy as might have reduced overshooting.
Front disc brake rubbed for 75% of time and rear did at times. Not sure why.
