Haven't felt right for 3 weeks (throat & glands) and finally crashed last night with 10hrs sleep. Had planned an easy MTB ride in the dry gap this morning.

Ellen's Green-Dunsfold-Munstead-home 3 degs, 20 wind with 35 gusts.
Kept HR down, yet speed was fine, particularly as had to back off frequently with the side gusts. Had a postie step out behind van, just had time to swerve around missing by cms. Also got blown across road by castle, thankfully at low speed. All good experience.
Felt good on the hills- getting stronger.
