Denbies via Pond Lane, back across Whitedowns until steered off path to avoid trail jump, ended up on endless muddy paths. Relocated on Whitedowns Lane & got lost again, & bailedonto roads in sleet with frozen hands. Painful descending Staples in sleet. Decent route, if you like mud- the alternative was muddy too! Back about the same as 3 weeks ago.

Great bonus to be out on 31 Jan, even if knackered before starting.

Saw chiropractor yesterday. Interesting insight, it was locking up of lower back that caused SI joint to misalign rather than other way. Will adjust daily exercises to target glutes & lower back muscles, even more important riding a MTB.

Seems as though stopping running leads to more knee pain not less- use it or lose it!
