Mytchett explore & course recce from outside the fence.
Course plays to my weaknesses, with frequent marked changes of gradient preceeded invariably by a sharp turn. Might be dismounting several times a lap. Best tactic, find a rhythm if possible early and don't fight the course, just like O.
Legless today, post-vacc & stressful week, so cut ride from 3 to 2.5 hours. Managed to eat & drink on the move,after a fashion- practice and/or camelback?

Twilight ride out to Blackheath. Created private Strava segment of a 8.33k loop 160m in 34.21, lost way in maze & one wrong turn, say 30s extra, gives me a 4min/k target. Fast ride back, THR up Halfpenny.
Short sharp pre-vacc ride & expecting a few rest days after...
