Note

Introduction MTB racing was a real eye opener, racing around the circuit with elite level riders passing several times in the one race. Looking forward to the 6 hour race in September and settling some scores!

Gorrick Torq final race 3 - 8th yet again - 6th for series.
29.23, 30.21, 32.11 (75s gel/water), 31.44 (20s water), 30.57
Pushed on laps 1 & 2, saw someone then fed & became stressed rather than being in the moment, focusing on clean efficient lines. Overtook him before the hill on last lap & focus returned. No cramp- just.
Dropped bars 10mm and moved seat 2mm forwards, and had better corner control. Will drop the front another 5 (max).
Great well organised series, and far more confident rolling drops & dealing with roots. A very long way to go skill & strengthwise.

Around the tiny assembly area & stretching during the briefing, after two hold ups drive.
Made no difference to the faster first lap but it started mainly downhill.

Swinley - Raining, puddles & darkness wasn't ideal to test flipping stem down.
Not too low, but not sure if handling has got worse, so will unflip it and lower using spacers.
