Note
slept:5.5 (injured)

Operation at 8.30 and fast tracked for same day discharge- so far, so good. Got through the door at home and took another 90 mins to get upstairs, vomiting on the way, when BP crashed. Not painful with all the meds, but had wrecked core muscles on the next day- not the flying start I imagined after major abdominal surgery. 6 incisions, with only one meant to be more than inch, yet there were 2 larger ones and a lot of bruising on the R where I suspect my hernia mesh from 2011 got in the way. The surgeon confirmed it had lengthened the surgery time.
