Little update:

Had a rather fun little patch of road races since Carnethy that seem to have gone well. Considering that the diss and ILW had restricted training quite hard it was surprising to get quite such a large PB at Allan Scally's (15:28 - I'm counting it as a pb even if power of ten isn't :p) and then managed to carry it through KB5 and road Relays.
So now the challenge is to not let the shape plummet whilst in Cyprus for two weeks on a field trip (and missing jk :() . I think I'll sacrifice any social standing I have on the course and spend all free time running. And then hopefully be in OK shape and start hitting up some races (Scottish 5k, dumyat, jura, Scottish Mountain marathon plus more).
Would like to do well at bucs this weekend but have no faith in my current navigational capabilities.
7 AM

Running 42:13 [2] 7.8 km (5:25 / km) +149m 4:56 / km

KF + crags with Bash and Ali. Big fan of Holyrood on a sunny morning.
6 PM

Running 1:15:38 [3] 15.87 km (4:46 / km) +40m 4:42 / km

EUOC meadows intervals: 2 x 1200m, 2 x 1k, 2 x 800m, 4 x 200m with ~2mins recovery between everything apart from the 200s when it was longer.
Started quite hard, then had to try really bloody hard to keep going. Had a lot of fun tonight; everyone seemed up for ruining themselves, and taking pleasure in doing so. Plus there was plenty of hype for the last rep, which was a filthy affair that I had no hope of competing in.
Properly dazed afterwards and in need of some tasty scran.
Splits:
1200 - 3:29, 3:32
1000 - 2:53, 2:55
800 - 2:24, 2:24
200 - all 28
