Triple-lock PFH with Peds and Dash: dip, coffee and scree. Don't go to the trails over there enough, so nice. Great company and great run, followed by finishing off the previous evening's BBQ in front of the Diamond League. Legs finally feeling respectable too.

Running 42:29 intensity: (1:11 @1) + (38:33 @2) + (2:45 @3) 7.66 km (5:33 / km) +100m 5:13 / km

Total fail of a run. Slept in and missed the parkrun. Eventually got out and intended on a session but felt awful and energy levels slowly deteriorated to having to walk home to confirm a somewhat surprising hypo.
4 PM

Running 12:08 intensity: (3 @0) + (1:39 @1) + (10:26 @2) 2.68 km (4:31 / km) +11m 4:26 / km

After a delightful few hours taking in the Meadows Festival, agreed a plan with Dash, Sash and Jura to head out for a dip. Collected some things and went through the alleway to get to Jura's. Halfway down, saw someone lying down. Briefly thought it might be someone in a bad way but once close it was obvious it was Organic Jim. Haven't seen him in ages so stopped for a classic Organic Jim interaction. Asked for a phone and a speaker so he could play some music. Said I couldn't offer anything. He said his classic " we live in hope" and off I went. Tragically he only had a few more hours to live. RIP Organic Jim!

Running 31:04 intensity: (7 @0) + (1:00 @1) + (29:57 @2) 4.82 km (6:27 / km) +109m 5:48 / km

Delightful little trot with Dash around Torduff before dipping and then retiring for a truly wonderful BBQ.

Meadows, Bog and KF. Bumped into some Friday sessioners (!) and Matt & Louise in matching fluorescent pink tops. Tired.

A brief introduction to Linn Park with Dan. A much hyped place to run in Glasgow, shall see if it can deliver.
6 PM

Running 1:02:30 intensity: (33 @0) + (7:20 @1) + (54:37 @2) 11.06 km (5:39 / km) +290m 5:00 / km

Carnethy reps. A down-and-up session on the Crags: 120secs, 75, 45, 45, 75, 120. The times are for the downs; you then turn around and climb back to the start. A bit half hearted as quite tired still, but can see that this would be a real tough session when pushing hard. Fun crowd.

Easy on the Seat after meeting the smiliest pharmacist alive. Wet but warm so very enjoyable and generally good head clearer.

Trying to get into a better routine so thought a braids loop would be a good start to the week. Nice to switch off with some tunes and plod round. Legs felt tired and progressively felt worse but it became clear that a hypo was coming on. Made it to the meadows before walking home.
