Running 3:18:00 [3] 24.0 km (8:15 / km)

Great long slow run with Bash and Yumi from Inglewood north into Forks of the Credit and back over the Devil's pulpit. Great route with lots of climbing and variety. Definitely one to do-over.

Cycle 1:20:00 [3]

Awesome first meeting of Night Club! Storm and I continued the search for rideable singletrack through Hilton Falls. If only it would stay 15C with a full moon every week.

Next meeting of Night Club is December 10 - any takers? Guelph line and 401, 6:30pm. I'll send out a notice week of.

I now have two lady friends who are willing to make the trek out to Milton from the city to "run up the mountain". Nice to have some company at my pace.

Home - Mountain - Hilton Falls - Mountain - Home.

Cycle 1:15:00 [3] 18.0 km (4:10 / km)

Waterloo hydro cut with Storm and DD11 before the starry nigh to cup. It was A wee slick for me and a wee too much of a gasser effort for my weary lungs. Must go back when the conditions are dry and I am healthy.

Distance/time estimated.

Orienteering/Bushwack 42:00 [3] 6.0 km (7:00 / km)

Starry Night O Cup in Waterloo. Great mini event put on by the Stars. Lots of fun out in the cold November rain hunting down CPs in downhill mtn bike park.

Running hills 1:04:00 [4]

Took a short cut driving to Kelso while Sean ran there and back, then we ran in together for hill repeats.

I got 4 in, with mostly power hiking. I don't think gasser workouts are good for someone with an acute cough. Fastest one 3:28.

Cycle 1:45:00 [3]

Storm and I ventured to scout a possible new host site for a ESAR or Storm the Escarpment. It looks pretty darn good. Giddy up!

Cycle 2:05:00 [3] 32.0 km (3:54 / km)

Ride with DD11 at Hilton Falls. Fun to try new single track I must have passed by a thousand times before but didn't know it existed.

We ran into one of my old coworkers and got chatting and turns out he was riding with a new group that has formed the HAFTA - Hilton Something Trail Association. They are now building and maintaining trails with the Regional Forest, starting with trail building next weekend.

Sunday Nov 1, 2015 #

Running 2:42:15 [3] 20.0 km (8:07 / km)
ahr:140 max:167

Long MAPR run. Looking for some easy trails and country roads to trot along, I landed on Mountsberg Conservation Area, but in trying to drive there I got stopped by the same train, not once, not twice but three times! The last time I gave up and pulled into a parking lot for the Snyder Tract and ran in there for a whopping 3km. I then could cross the tracks and ran over to Mountsberg, did all their trails and back to the car.

Nice to run somewhere different and I even roughed out a "STORM the SWAMP" course for Storm, but he's not biting on it yet.

MAPR run (8:07) cough and cold
