Fresh for spring is my new favourite 10K route from home with 6 hills and 517 metres up (...and down too). Love it!

Running 1:05:30 [3] 9.3 km (7:03 / km)

Run with 6 big hills and staircases. After no running for two weeks with a bad cold, my pace is suffering. Have to claw back to normal next week.

Running 1:30:00 [2] 7.0 km (12:51 / km)

Hike with Storm around some of the highlights of the Badger Mountain course, including 2 big climbs. Must put Storm in a bubble 2 weeks before the next big race to protect him.

Standing on the top of Badger Mtn with the hilly race course in the background.

Cycle 2:15:00 [3]

Sweet first ride of the year w Storm in Washington State. Gorgeous coastal state park open to mountain bikes and the best flowy single track I have ridden in a long time. Love the Salsa 29er we rented.

Cycle 1:00:00 [3]

Spin class with special guess star STORM. I know he hated every second of it- especially the sing-a-long spin slow jam at the end.

Running 1:46:00 [3] 15.5 km (6:50 / km)

Couldn't pass up the nice weather for a rest day, so did a long slow trot home from work and some hills in High Park. Legs were really sore after the climbing on Saturday but it was fun to see a trillion joggers out and even some people I know - kind of rare in the big city.

Cycle (Super Spin Class) 1:55:00 [4]

Joined in with a class training for the Ride to Conquer cancer and learned about some 30 minute hill climb in Hamilton that we "practiced" riding on.
Anyone know where this is?!

Running 3:00:00 [4] 15.0 km (12:00 / km)

Tricked Reeder into an extra long workout that I don't quite know how to classify.

With heavy packs on, we ran along the bruce trail for a few km into Grindstone Creek Valley near Waterdown Road and then we worked our way along the valley by trekking up and down each side of the valley wall in snow shoes for 8 repeats in total, and then jogged back to the cars. So run-trek-snowshoe-intervals-run.

Best part is we saw bugs walking on the surface of the snow. Woohoo, spring is on the way!!!!

Snowshoeing 4:10:00 [2] 20.0 km (12:30 / km)

Tested out the new pack with 18 pounds and just trekked the Bruce Trail section at Clappison's Corners while Storm ran circles around me. Not sure of the distance as I took lots of side trails to avoid hikers. This is a good section to use right now as it is heavily packed down by walkers and fat bikes. I took off the snow shoes half way through and was fine with poles to help with some slippery hills.
