Orienteering race 1:48:33 [4] *** 9.5 km (11:26 / km) +380m 9:31 / km

Tucson Blue Day 2. Good race for me other than trying to re-map control three. Not a good idea when you're in a race. Saw Swampfox between 6-7, but when he stopped and asked for help about where he was, I ignored the request and just kept on going. (You know you're spending too much time on attackpoint when...)

Tucson Day 1 Blue. Twisted my ankle on a loose rock. I think the only other time I twisted my ankle orienteering was on this map as well. Its a little sensitive to weight now, but didn't significantly affect my race today and probably won't affect tomorrow's if I'm careful. Two major mistakes each costing me between 5-10 minutes. I wasn't careful out of the start and ended up making a parallel error. I spent some time running back and forth between several re-entrants before I realized what I had done. Otherwise clean on this relatively nontechnical terrain. I did do a good job steering into controls from my attackpoints. I definitely need to work on my fitness.
