Sunday Oct 5

Running long 1:20:00 [3] 9.32 mi (8:34 / mi)
shoes: NB 859
Down Genesee into Tecalote and back to hit my four hours of aerobic training for the week. TP tightened only during the last mile, otherwise a good run.
Physical Therapy / Stretching 10:00 [1]
calves and feet

Saturday Oct 4

Note
SDTC Ursula Rains Balboa Boogie 5K
Running race (trails/grass) 20:59 [4] 3.07 mi (6:50 / mi) vdot: 46.4
shoes: NB 840
Course was almost all trails/grass, no serious hills. Started out a bit too fast and just tried to hang on - faded a bit. Slight calf pain (anterior right) that I've had the past few runs and a slight/moderate stitch. Pretty good race on a poor night of sleep.

Mile splits: 6:28, 7:00, 7:06

Results... 127/279 overall. 18/22 in M30-34. Burned. Track club races are humbling.
Physical Therapy / Stretching 10:00 [1]
calves after running, shoulders and feet after swimming
Swimming 40:00 [3]
3x10 laps, 10 laps single arm, 10 laps

Thursday Oct 2

Torrey Pines hill. Minor aches. Eased up last couple of miles - I do have a race on Saturday after all.
Physical Therapy / Stretching 15:00 [1]
extra calves, feet, quads, hams

Wednesday Oct 1

Running tempo 44:19 [4] 5.71 mi (7:45 / mi)
shoes: NB 859
Still a bit warm out tonight. As close to a pain free run as I have had in a while.
Cycling 10:00 [2]
