Orienteering 2:00:00 [2]

Went down to Fort Benjamin Harrison state park for the first time and ran around for 2 hours. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=626562

Printed out and taped together some 1:24000 maps from topozone and colored in some updates based on Google maps satellite imagery. Within the last month, google maps has updated with some really fabulous imagery of central Indiana. You can see individual branches on trees. The images appear to be from early spring before most trees leafed out, so you can get a pretty good idea of terrain runnability just looking at them.

Didn't intend to move too fast today, and that went according to plan. Stopped often to verify location on map. 1:24 isn't easy.

Boy this would make a wonderful O map. A lot of variety.
