Ran through Avery and Willamete park with becky and mellow. Mellow had a great time in the river. Then took a cooldown to waterfront for farmers market goodies.

25 minutes on elliptical trainer, followed by a short jog and strech. Felt super speedy on the run.

Jogged through Avery (25 min) to Dixon. Did core and upper body training, then jogged home 1 mile.

Running with Andy, Tim, George and Larry.
Good run. Up Chip ross to Dans trail. Up horse and looped back on dan's, finished offtrail through open space.

35 min warmup through Avery including a 7:20 mile on cinder track. Ran easy hard intervals. 76,89,69,88,67,92,71. Jogged/Walked home on rails.

Scouters Mountain. Seems like a fun area. Wish I wasn't so rushed, it could be much better if I put in a couple more days.

'Green' course at champoeg play in woods expo.
Pretty easy navigation, but fun running. Two deep puddle crossing and one creek.
(Minor cold still, but felt better after race)

Running 29:30 [4] 3.5 mi (8:26 / mi)

Decided to test my baseline speed. Ran to cinder track. It was super sloppy :-)
Ran a 6:48 mile, I'm pleasantly happy with this.
I think when I start speed work, a primary goal will be to develop my recovery pace to 7:30 or less.

Helped at Cook Park Scout-O. I liked the park,it's good for it's size. Ran a course afterward. Made 1 major mistake running past a trail junction. Should have backtracked immediatly, but instead took a longer dogleg to control. Mostly spiked the control locations.

Cooldown lap around the park.
I felt sluggish all day. I think it's almost time to add speed work into my training.

Beautiful run in Willamette park. Went past then cemetary, down & back on the new river path, finished with puddly trail running. Got there right after the rain stopped. Birds everywhere, and things are turning green.

Did eliptical trainer for thirty minutes, HR around 150. Did variuos situps, followed by about a mile of running drills. Some light shoulder excercises.

Ran through Avery, then to golf course and back. Met a guy by a barn and followed his directions to Willamette Park. There were many blackberries. Ran back through the grocery store...

Saw the biggest fish ever out by Willamette. It was so big they needed a truck to move it ;-)
