Orienteering 40:15 [3] 5.8 km (6:56 / km)
shoes: Orange Sauconys

Willamette Park meet. A very enjoyable morning. Had a fairly good run at steady pace, but I think I spent too much time running slow and I didn't commit enough to my choices.
Made a few mistakes with fine map reading near the controls. Partly because my eyes were blurry and partly because I forgot the control sheet.
Looking forward to Catherine Creek tomorrow, I want to push the pace harder.

After this weekend's lead feet, I decided some speedwork was in dire need. Ran pyrimids, with goal of sub 6 pace. Cool down of 2-3 min between intervals. Workout felt good!

Willamette Park. The trails are really overgrown with blackberries and stinging nettle. I almost feel like we should head out with clippers and machettes before next weeks meet.
