Orienteering30:00 [2] 3.0 km (10:00 / km) shoes: Old boots
Setting and picking up controls for training class. I was running in boots, but still running. Foot held up good, although legs were really tight.
Did it memory-o style
Note
OSI training class, teaching scout leaders how to teach orienteering merit badge, and how to set courses.
I think it went very well, especially in the afternoon session. Split them into 3 groups of 2, each group setting 3 controls. Then linked the controls together into a course that the three groups ran against eachother.
Walked into work. It's amazing what physical activity does to loosen the muscles and reduce pain fast.
Biking1:45:00 [2] 25.0 mi (4:12 / mi)
Road out toe Eurka Lane, hoping to check out the Finley Wildlife Refuge (which I've never been to before). The last mile is a rough gravel road though, so I didn't see the whole thing.
Mostly an easy pace, with a few hard miles thrown in to get the heart rate up.
