beautiful superior hiking trail; great training super techy trail, with heavy packs.

phase 2 of the mission...ride back to the car. beaver bay to silver bay, to finland, to cramer road SHT parking lot. just as we commented on how great a ride and day it was, RAIN got us again.

26-ish miles. biggest day; rained on for a couple hours; had to pull over, stop and take shelter for an hour, until it let up, since space monkey didn't bring a raincoat!!!! was a good break anyways. went across the sawmill bog which is partially formed by a massive beaver dam; they must have started building it right after the ice age...was HUGE!. kinda long day though.
