paddling (SUP) 2:00:00 [3] 4.5 mi (26:40 / mi)

went out to paulette and randy; 2nd time on SUP board, lots of fun and definitely a good change of activity for a bit; windy on the pactola reservoir for a bit.

bike (mtn bike) 2:35:00 [3] 21.6 mi (7:11 / mi)

went out with the idea of a four hour plus ride on the centennial trail; all was well until the tread separated in two spots, one of which blows out under the stress of harsh trails. took me about a half hour to put in a boot; at that point I was far enough, I needed to continue out the far end and re-evaluate the tire; the tire held up, but I didn't for how long it would hold; made decision to chill, get some fluids, and some ice cream in Nemo and take the smoothest roads possible back to base. Tire held, but was clearly deteriorating, bummer as it was time to head back to MN.
