Running 10:00 [2] 1.5 km (6:40 / km)

Strength&Conditioning 1:00:00 [3]

Some mobility then 3x my glute circuit but swapping my "set of glute bridges" to glute and hamstring bridges with 10kg plate, both to failure. Plus some nordics at the end to hit the hamstrings a teeny bit more in case they hadn't already had enough

Running 10:00 [3]

Some little bits of jogging at UBOC downs training

Tuesday Oct 18 #

So halfway through the run on Monday my left knee started to feel really really tired (especially back of knee like hamstring area) and on the verge of injury. Rested instead of intervals and will focus on strengthening my glute and hammies a lot more again for the next couple of weeks.

Gwent league #1- Bridgend, senior women
After last week's 20km disaster I wanted to pace this one better so kept a comfortable pace for the first lap, then emma overtook me so I kept with her throughout the second lap, still feeling quite comfortable then made a move at the top of the last hill and got away from a small bunch to come 7th. Not an amazing time but happy with 7th, will up the pace next time. Last year I was 14th at Blaise so an improvement on that. Hoping to do the whole series this year :)

Cycling 15:00 [3]

Back from Temple Meads (the cycle down there this morning was 0 effort)
