Not running today, blisters are too bad. Sad to be missing out on running head to head with the likes of annika and galina but for the better...

Ribs really painful last night from about 5pm onwards, not nice. Feeling better this morning but scared of making it come back. Not sure of cause but maybe too much breathing hard (?) or I did have a jolt yesterday after falling forward off a fence (it broke when i was climbing over and caught my foot on the top). Gonna be a bit careful anyway.

POM day 3 - middle
Started well then faded a bit. First mistake control 7, and another small one at 8 then clear enough until 14 (50s), overshot control, and another at 18 (1:08 on my splits) , distracted by another pile of boulders.
So easy to run fast here but just not able to keep it up! Going to try to be a bit more controlled tomorrow.
Ribs were fine, though blister protection moving around at the end of race, ouchy

Started the warm up for night sprint but blisters (inner soles) are pretty bad so jacked it in. Chasing long tomorrow so will see what they’re like in the morning..

Pom day 2 - wre 11.5k
Mainly good but a massive blunder on 10, direction issues with intent to be going right but not actually going right then mismatching hills etc, 7mins lost on this one control, big oops.
Other than that, happy enough with the rest of it and nice to see I wasn’t far off the top girls’ pace, just need to remember to take time to check things. 13th, +10mins
