Down to Coombe Dingle
Felt a little twinge inside left knee just starting to go down Parry's Lane. Loosened off quickly but just noting in case it comes back

Back to it! For the rest of term, Coombe dingle is Weds/Friday (so can now go on Monday night runs :D ) Friday's really good now with a chilled 3 hour Performance squad slot and physios are there too.
Fun in the sun with bounds outside on the grass today!
Also did standard core circuits, lunges etc, step ups and other glute work.

Actually went to the gym to go on spin bike but since it’s temporarily up in the sports hall (while they’re renovating the real gym), there was no wifi or tv so nothing to watch. Can live without xtraining right now so hopped off after 5 mins and did core +rolling

Stopped in Stoke Lodge to watch a helicopter take off, fun way to take a mid run break

Return to Coombe Dingle
4x 2min (1min), 2x4min(2min), 4x2min (1min) - however cut off the last 2x2min reps.
Started as well as I was before Easter holidays, but then faded in the second 4 quite badly and the last two reps I did I was struggling for any speed. I think down to lack of energy. Maybe didn't eat enough good food for lunch onwards and probs also tired from last week.

Ben also feeling bad so we walked the last km home after this.
I think this means this week needs to be an easy one!

The next 5 weeks are jampacked with deadlines and then exams in the final week. Hoping to be able to keep up some consistent training. Will be glad to be out the other end for a massive summer of orienteering! plus can now make it to British Long :)

Travelled back this morning to Bristol.
Supposedly a rest day but Ben made me watch A Quiet Place at the cinema, definitely raised the heart rate a lot (had my hands over my eyes for half of it lol). A good movie, would recommend.
