Orienteering 1:24:00 [3] 11.21 km (7:30 / km) +280m 6:40 / km

British Long -Balmoral 8th
Not great today. Started badly with some big mistakes in the first loop, not really expecting it to be that tricky. Decent long leg, though distracted in circle by cameramen. After that just felt really tired already (45mins) and struggled to race for the rest of it, plenty mistakes creeping in too. Glad I tried to keep pushing today at least. Today was generally tougher and trickier than I thought it would be but a good experience

Running 43:12 [3] 8.0 km (5:24 / km) +250m 4:40 / km

Inspired by yesterday, did a mini hills session with ben and Mike (Coombe Dingle intervals have moved to Whitehall track now - could go but that involves cycling there then warming up and aint nobody got time for dat). Goat gully, bridge valley then the one closer to observatory as efforts, followed by a crawl around the downs. Right foot arch bothering me a bit, probs time to xtrain and roll a bit more. Last exam Thursday so almost out of it!

Running 50:19 [3] 8.8 km (5:43 / km) +270m 4:57 / km

UBOC run, down bishops knoll, up goat gully, down by the observatory and back up by bridge valley road. Fun, nice to get some hills in :)

Running 1:03:46 [3] 12.21 km (5:13 / km) +230m 4:46 / km

Nice loop with Ben through Blaise and Shirehampton. Came back along portway which was still closed from the 10k, then back up goat gully :)

Had fun thinking about, theoretically, where we would hold woc if it was in south wales, with all disciplines.
Middle - Clydach terrace (not biased at all ;) but it is a great area)
Long - OFD
Relay - Merthyr Mawr sand dunes
Sprint relay - West cross and clyne gardens (would be awesome)
And not so sure about Sprint. Could be Singleton park and uni? Would be fun to have a more intricate area. Any good swoc sprint maps?
