Haverthwaite Middle - have been looking forward to this for a while, forest was lovely and course was really fun too :)
Happy with how I orienteered for most of the course. One mistake on 12 where I went too far right of the control up the hill, and then one really stupid thing which cost me a bit more. Left control 16 down the hill, across a main path, across another path + wall, and started searching for the control, only to realise I’d gone 90degrees right and everything happened to fit how I expected! Nice reminder to check direction leaving controls. Was probably also a bit tired after the long hill climb.

Early morning down to Eastville and along the river. It turned out shorter than I thought it would be but I didn’t fancy looping around in Stoke park at the end. Will add an extra bit in Eastville next time. Nice morning anyway, lots of birdsong and ducks and squirrels!
