Felt some kind of major knot in my glute/lower back which was quite uncomfortable. Probs a mix of Saturday’s adventure and also having to walk quite far back from Parkway station last night with heavy bag after a bus mishap.. Will be fine soon

Day 5, forest sprint at 1:5000
Wanted to keep it clean today and mostly did that, just some small issues on 1, 11 and 12. Managed to keep my overall lead up for the win. My main competition this week was Siiri Silvennoinen (Kalevan Rasti, at JWOC this year I think) and I held her off for the first three days, then I messed up badly yesterday, but today it looks like she had a good run and she got me again!
Anyway it’s been a good week of technical training. Apart from day 4, I’ve been focussing on direction well - good compass practice which has been something I needed to work on for a while. Also need to keep in mind accuracy in control circle and avoiding crags for WOC and I’ll be good to go!
