The past few days have been mostly focused on vacuuming, wiping cupboard shelves, fixing paint nicks and scrubbing bathrooms as we prepare Tree Hugger ABC 1.0 to go to its new owners on Wednesday.

'Bent, AdventureDog and I took a couple hours off this afternoon to flag one possible connector trail through the forest from the back of ABC 2.0 to the Bruce Trail. It's about 650 m long with some climb/descent that might not be safe on skis, but that's OK.

We were running out of time to get 'Bent home for Zoom Yom Kippur but we added a quick 100 m bushwhack south to the Kolapore Church Trail, which is our closest entry point to the 50 km Kolapore wilderness ski/bike trail network. Then we came back to the Bruce via a different, better bushwhack route, then followed the flags of our proposed connector trail route back home. Then I took BazingaDog out on our trail so he could enjoy the beautiful autumn day too. Lots of trail building work ahead but it will be fun.

Elapsed 2 hours, logging 1 hour. I carried a compass and orienteering map (and pruners!) but it would be a stretch to call this navigation.
