Thomass Finale in Bolton - I thought I might do badly because of yesterday's adventure race, but instead I did badly because of 2 costly nav errors! Oh well, it was a beautiful morning to be out.

Adventure Racing race (Winter) 4:25:32 [4] **
ARC Hardwood Hills winter adventure race - solo category. 10-min nav error in ski section, but had fastest solo time in snowshoe nav section. (Won a case of beer for that!) Treacherous biking on icy roads, so chose an interesting 1/2 hour hike-a-bike route over a big hill on snowmobile trails. Finished the race a few seconds behind the top male solo racer, ahead of 24 other solos. Best race result ever! :-)))
