'Bent and I ran one of the variations of the Kolapore Church / Paradise Highway loop. He's being cautious with his knee after hurting it at Storm so my pace was perfect for him. The trails were in pretty good shape considering how much rain there has been. It sprinkled a little while we were out there and it was very humid. Then... garden work.

I added a couple of photos to yesterday's canoe paddle log entry - the Tarnos and Stephen.

Fun paddle on the Beaver River with Tarno, Jackie, 'Bent, AdventureDog and Stephen. Unfortunately, Stephen was *very* concerned about the Tarno canoe. He didn't like it to be too far to one side of us and he got *very* upset if they moved ahead. Such a competitor! Funny - he didn't care about any of the other canoes, kayaks or SUPs we met out there.

During our paddle two weeks ago, I forced him to keep all four feet on the bottom of the boat. It took constant attention and meant that I couldn't always paddle. This time he insisted on standing up on the bow as our canoe figurehead and I gave up on enforcing the rule. We were prepared for him to jump into the river like he did on our canoe trip. Although he got very excited at times, he stayed in the boat so maybe this was progress. There were no ducks or geese today so the degree of difficulty was not as high.
