Orienteering race 30:38 [4] 5.1 km (6:00 / km)

Ooo don't know what to say.. Well slight misses on 1,2,3. + 10 secs on each. 4 went wrong way out of 3 so lost 30 secs. Caught Jake f up at 9 ish. Big cock up at 16 where I stopped thinking and instead of going down the nice obvious path next to a fence I went left through a style. Ended up in the wrong fieldy bit and had to run across it over a fence on to the path, not spotting a style slightly further down. + 1 min. Overall average sorta race. Lost the 3 mins that would have won but ah well. Finished in 7th

Orienteering race 16:38 [5] 2.6 km (6:24 / km)

Heats. Fairly decent race really. No major mistakes though there were certainly some hesitations in a few places. Reckon I lost maybe 20 secs through those. Did run virtually the whole course with Joe woodley as we had the same start time and there were only 3 small gaffles. Finished 2nd behind butt Harry but it was just about getting into the a final, which I did....

Orienteering race 15:41 [5] 2.3 km (6:49 / km)

A final. Had Tim Morgan 1 min infront and Sasha 1 behind. Tried not to concentrate on them but it was always there. Again not a brilliant race just sort of average. Going well for a while, before 12 I think changed my route plan after leaving the control in that direction so lost 20 seconds. Lost another 10 at 18 where I stopped at a control that was also on trees bit was a bit earlier. Overall lost 45 secs with those and hesitations. Finished 6th in end, 30 secs down on the controversial winner Dane but only 19 down on 2nd/3rd and 4 secs on 5th. All very close! 7/10 for happiness with the run though.

Same route to work as ever but took the alternate route to the tennis club as I had tennis :)

Note

Decide to take all sports out of the hours such as tennis and cricket and only put real training in :) will put sports and PE etc as notes tho...

Tennis - 1 hour
Cricket - 1 hour

Same old run back from work expierience. Last one tho as cycling weds, Thurs and dads kindly offered to give me a lift on Friday so to have a rest for the weekend :)
