Running 12:10 [2] 2.67 km (4:33 / km)
shoes: Asics trainers

To and from the gym. Nearly missed it, fell asleep and luckily woke up just in time.

Strength and conditioning 1:00:00 [1]

Gym. Normal kind of stuff but a bit easier today. Still can't do a body weight pull up :/

Running warm up/down 17:31 [3] 3.63 km (4:50 / km)
shoes: New Balance trainers

Round the meadows and down to Dumbiedykes

Orienteering intervals 24:52 [4] 5.63 km (4:25 / km)
shoes: New Balance trainers

Sprintervals with Tim, Tam and Jack L. 10 second intervals for the first 4 and then mass started the longer last. Very hard to stay in control partly due to my headtorch making it hard to read the map and the fine detail/high pace. Picked the best route on the long leg though on the mass start. I'm just slow and then missed it in the circle so still lost time on everyone. Really good fun though.

Running warm up/down 17:12 [2] 3.25 km (5:18 / km)
shoes: New Balance trainers

The finish to Tams jacket, Sciennes and back to the gym for a performance-enhancing sauna before a Kebab Pizza.

Running long 1:56:51 [3] 22.76 km (5:08 / km) +454m 4:40 / km
shoes: Asics trainers

Long run on Braids. Started out with the other boys and then got dropped when I was having a chat with Jenny because we got stuck at some lights and they never looped back or waited for us. Nice. Anyway 1 lap of Braids with Jenny and Callum and then another 2 laps, pretty much, by myself. Quite enjoyable with the sun actually coming out.

Running warm up/down 11:32 [2] 2.46 km (4:41 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212s

Up. Standard.

Running hills 24:00 [4] 3.85 km (6:14 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212s

4 x 3 minute hills [3 min] up the crags. Fine for the first 2 and then had a heavy slip on the 3rd which I couldn't recover from having lost all momentum and basically come to a stand still. Simply died on the 4th. Distances; 0.51, 0.47, 0.44, 0.45. Surprise guest with Scott Fraser turning up. He was obviously gliding ahead of everyone in his trackies and road shoes and with a recent lack of training. Says he'll come with us a few more times which will be good.

Running warm up/down 43:27 [2] 7.78 km (5:35 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212s

Long warm down up the bog and round the meadows. Mostly with Will, Katie, Scott and Jonny plus a bit solo.

Running warm up/down 18:27 [2] 3.3 km (5:35 / km)

Up.

Running race 29:17 [4] 7.07 km (4:09 / km)

Left my shoes at the hotel so borrowed a pair of x-talons from Jo. Right size but the slim fit so a bit tight still. Race was a mud-bath. Struggled to get traction the whole way round and by the time I finished didn't feel tired at all really. Even on the sprint finish I couldn't go any faster. Maybe didn't run aggressively enough but I just couldn't motivate myself to try. Weird one really. Did remind me why I don't run cross countries though. Would have just about avoided being lapped by Callum Hawkins in the A race...

Running 34:18 [3] 6.45 km (5:19 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212s

Easy run, looking at the sights of Cheltenham with Ali. Not many sights to look at really, found some nice grass to run along but mostly along roads.
