General wander round Newtyle taking in 3 geocaches. Very slow as choice of knee high heather or chest high bracken. Sore shins as forgot to cover them, too much time on softy terrain recently. Hope we have a cold winter.

Was intending to have a proper run but sore buttocks and to a lesser extent calves that didn't ease off. It may have been from spending the morning driving to and from Glasgow for Duncan's hockey match but was concerned my body didn't seem to be having a nice time so stopped and went home to make scones.

Arrived lateish and forgot to bring water (or to drink anything but strong coffee this morning) so all a bit rushed. 3 short sprints with mazes, did 1 then 3 then 2 just stopping to download in between. Forerunner battery flat.
Good fun although with course 1 I stood in the middle of the maze for about a minute trying to work out where I was.
Will have to do one of these with TAY.
