running (run around) 23 [3] 3.1 km (7 / km)
shoes: inov8 flyroc310 pair 2

Nearby geocache I decided to run to whilst waiting for our final leg runner, also revisited the leg near the end I mucked up. Seemed obvious when not tired and stressed.
11 AM

Orienteering race (8 person relay) 45:53 [4] 4.68 km (9:48 / km) +60m 9:13 / km
shoes: inov8 flyroc310 pair 2

First tartan leg for mixed KFO/TAY team. Started well but mucked up 2 legs near the end when my brain stopped working and I decided the finish was at the other end of all the tents.

cycling (pootle around Dundee cycl) 55:06 [2] 15.0 km (3:40 / km) +70m 3:35 / km

Pootle around Dundee cycle paths visiting 4 geocaches to add interest whilst Duncan is at a battlesomething or other party. We went cycling beforehand when we went round a cycle track nearby aimed at BMX racers with lots of jumps. I was rubbish at it, but entertained the local kids.

running (2 laps of park) 28:43 [2] 4.13 km (6:57 / km) +68m 6:25 / km
shoes: Nike Pegasus

No running for 2 weeks so thought I'd better get going again. Warm and humid and leaden legs, but not surprising.
In Turkey 8-15th and far too hot to contemplate running. It was supposed to be an activity holiday, but my son was the fittest person there and my 72 year old dad with arthritis could easily keep up. Had fun canoeing, sea kayaking, mtbing, walking in the mountains and snorkling but don't think my pulse was often above 120.
In London visiting relatives and pubs16-18th.

shoes: inov8 Roclite 295

Wet and cold and I navigated appallingly. Partly due to difficulty reading complex map in contact lenses and partly poor pacing and route choice.
