new shoes! I thought the extra cushion in hoka's would be a huge benefit to my foot, but now I'm not so sure. They felt great at first, but it seems that by the end of the run, my foot was more sore than normal. i'll give it a few more runs though. Maybe the extra cush causes too much instability in the foot??

Note

Foot is a bit sore from 4 consecutive days and I don't think that Winston plowing into me from behind coming off crosier yesterday helped either.

Hopefully I'll be able to pick up running tomorrow.

Longest day since Cascade Crest 2015.
I won't be able to run trail for quite some time yet, but at least I can get out and hike. :)

Attempting to get a few consecutive days in and see how the foot reacts - I feel like I'm playing with fire, but I want to get in some more consistency. We'll see how it feels tomorrow.

Doggie training - winston is doing better with sit and stand stays as well as walking off leash. I took him off leash twice and I think we got in about 1/2 mile total of off leash walking. He'll do anything for hot dogs.
