- another beautiful day in Salida!
Felt good all day and could run the rolling section better than previous years. The half marathon course is amazing and more technical than the marathon. Super fun! I did catch a toe though around mile 9 and finished with two bloody knees - par for the course.
I official met my goal too - I beat Ryan! He had an hour head start and twice as far to go and I needed every bit of it. I had 4 minutes to spare.

Coyote out and back - same as Tues.
Felt really good, but not as smooth as the other day. Super nice out (53°). Happy it’s the last evening run in the dark, but I’m going to miss the solitude of the darkness.

Out and back at Coyote. Almost didn’t get out today. Work has been super stressful the last couple of weeks and when I got home tonight I felt like all the cards are stacked up against me. But I got out any way and had a great run. Definitely a much needed attitude adjustment.

Winston’s Loop with Ryan. Well Gulch & Timber were ice rinks. Once we finally got out of the ice, life got a lot better. Ran into Cat, Celeste & Marie up high and spend quite a bit of time catching up. Long day, but good to have one of these days again with Ryan. I missed it.
