Horsetooth yog. Tough to get out the door today - unmotivated and low energy. Felt ok in the run, just not a lot of oomf.

Note

Had plans to get out today, but my body had other ideas. Woke up with a gnarly headache and couldn’t get out bed until 10am. By the time I felt somewhat better I had other responsibilities and running was not an option.

Towers Thursday - moderate effort up and hard down.
Good day - calves were pretty tight on the climb, but it was good to spin the legs on the decent. The climb didn’t feel as hard ays a month ago and I was only 20s slower. The downhill felt great - no thoughts about my foot it and it was my 5th fastest time - finally getting over my downhill fear I’ve had since my injury

Running 1:08:22 [3] 5.51 mi (12:25 / mi) +795ft 10:55 / mi

Coyote Ridge. - legs surprisingly sluggish on the climbs. Added 4 strides at the end and some drills

Tuesday Apr 17 #

Note

No desire to get out and run this afternoon After a really long day of travel. Doesn’t help that it’s super windy with 90mph gusts. We officially have a broken fence from the wind too. Fun times

Monday Apr 16 #

4 AM

Running 40:25 [3] 4.23 mi (9:34 / mi) +14ft 9:32 / mi
ahr:147 max:157 shoes: Road M2v2

Short jog from the hotel before heading out to spectate.
Cold windy and rainy. It’s going to be quite a day for those running the marathon today.
