Assorted running around in the woods chasing racers with GoPros. I got to do the MC2 hill about 10 times. That wasn't too bad, but running around in our part of palgrave I had to walk a fair bit, with the odd burst to film a team.
Leg certainly felt it- no way I could have raced. It should be better than this by now after all the resting.:(
I had a battery issue with our new camera, so I had to relay it back to the car for charging between bursts of activity.
Hiking (Pole hike/jog) 45:00 [1] shoes: La Sportiva Crossover GTX
Back on the spikes- new snow but rain forecast for the return trip.
Mostly hiking with AD and a little light jog on the flats.
Note
Had an appt with PG the physio.
He thinks it's a pulled hamstring, along with upper glute and piriformis problems that probably started it out. I may have overextended at boot camp in Jan. He thinks it will restrict me for 5 weeks total (2.5 more) and I should be fine for racing in June. Not too much running, but all the biking I want *without* clipping in on the left side.
-15c, with nice fast tracks to work- in April! The big boy loved it.
A lot more sparse on the way home- I had to carry my skis across bare fields in the open areas. More snow forecast!
Wow, some of the best powder of the year! Easy ski to work with a sedate Bzdog. Open areas were getting sparse on the way home, but it's still excellent. My bindings froze shut so I had to ski into the house and get out of the boots.
