Strength (Lumberjack) 15:00 [2]

BGY and his chainsaw came over to help me clear out the huge tree across the conservation trail on my commute. As a bonus I got some nice firewood, which we hauled back. Apparently his saw runs on beer! Also a great Chinese dinner with the BGY clan after.

Running 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: La Sportiva Crossover GTX

Snow! Beautiful run with AD in wintery conditions. Going to need a headlamp in the mornings soon. Did some extra hills on the return trip- leg still sore but some oomph is returning.

Strength 35:00 [2]

Rest of workout 1 plus lumberjack.

Cycling 50:00 [3]

Another stunning ride in- had to break out the winter biking boots, but the colours were great in brilliant sun. AD loves 2C weather.

Cycling 28:00 [2]

Nice night ride home. Tried AD on a slightly longer leash as he drags behind at night, as opposed to BZdog who always ran in front. AD is better off leash, but the big boy was better on his harness with the bike.

Managed to track down Alexander G, who is running the Bruce Trail from south to north. I was only the second person to pace him since he started.

We went from the Grange up to forks of the credit, and I helped him detour around the closed part of the trail. He seems very mentally together and doing well physically, although his support vehicle had nav issues and couldn't find us for his resupply.
I gave him some water and handed him off to Adam S, and then they met up with Steve Hunter.

Good run back up the escarpment, and an extra Grange hill at the end.

Cycling 1:40:00 [3]

Tried out some new suspension mods on a destination ride up the rail trail to Tottenham. Classique Cafe was as good as I'd heard.

Blustery drizzly day but colours still great.

Strength 40:00 [2]

Part of workout 3 and lumberjack work
