Running 1:30:25 [3] 12.21 km (7:24 / km) +391m 6:23 / km

Out with AD South from the 5th line parking lot, for max hills/km. The south bit North of 9 is a boggy mess of deadfall after the storm, but the rest was pretty good.

Note- left leg's still draggy. Doesn't extend well.

Logan the Adventuredog still had lots of oomph for a 7-dog run/swim after.

Running 45:00 [3]

Post paddle outing with the deer-crazed dogs hauling me through the bush off and on trail. Met Crash's gang too.

Paddlng 2:50:00 [3] 16.45 km (5.8 kph)

(3:50)

Minnesing Swamp adventure with Goose, Coach LD and a gaggle of friends. We did the car shuttle then headed up from the put-in near Snow Valley.

We rafted up to hear about the area from Guide Goose.

The water was super-high, making it more like a lake. We saw some Buffleheads, Tundra Swans, muskrat, and even saw the bald eagle as we went by the nest.

There was still snow on the trees, but it warmed up.
We had lunch tied up to a tree, as the swamp was more like a lake. We could only tell when we hit the Nottawasaga river when the water colour changed from Americano to Cafe au Lait. Last time we had to climb an embankment.

A lot of our paddling was through flooded forest and fields.

Thanks to Goose the guide for organizing the adventure, and for the mighty LD powering away in the bow of my boat.

XC Skiing 20:00 [2]

Out with both dogs for a surprise ski. Too gusty to ski in the woods much, so we mostly did loops of the yard. I managed to tear the sole partially off my combi boot. :(
