Magnificent ski in to work in dumping powder with AD, through the Charlevoix trails and the roller coaster.

Late but nice night ski home. Tracks feel almost machine groomed in Palgrave West!

Tuesday Feb 6 #

XC Skiing 1:05:00 [3]

Nice ski with the big boy, even when he had a staring contest with a bunny from 2m apart. Bunny blinked first. Didn’t need to break out the headlamp!

Finally decent conditions. Bash swapped dogs at work as Logan had a vet check up, where he was naughty.

Stars WAR with Bash.
Snowshoe only this year, which was a shame.
We had an awful start, missing several controls until Bash came up with Plan B.
After that it was lots of trail breaking in really nice terrain, with a couple of great views from CPs west of the road. Really nice ro be racing together in these woods.

We picked up a bunch of the controls we had to miss earlier on the way back.

Bob and Shannon cleaned the course, and even with a hefty overtime they got the win over MBR.
We ended up narrowly winning Masters, 7th overall.

Very good event- nice terrain, well organized, good race, and lots of post-race pizza that arrived fast.
