Pretty River with Tarno and all 3 dogs. Slippery out with mud and leaves, but the forecast rain ended up being light snow. Nice run!

Orienteering race (Peak 2 peak) 1:57:04 [4] 15.69 km (7:28 / km) +516m 6:25 / km
shoes: Salomon Sense Ultra SG

Peak 2 Peak.
No real nav problems, but some inefficient choices.
I planned more trail running than bushwhacking, but it turned out to be less efficient as slower runners were showing up at controls before I got there. At least I was running alone instead of following a train.
I switched to more xc, but got really snagged in some thorns and had to backtrack around, which put me too far behind sched to get 2 high value controls. I came in with 3 min to spare, after skipping a 20 pointer that was closeby which I could have gotten.

In hindsight, I should have skipped 2 mid-value controls and gone for the biggies in SE. Still a fun day out and a good run, on a well set-up race.

Good on Bob for cleaning the course, and for Griz who nearly did it too.
