XC Skiing 40:00 [3]

2- dog ski around the ‘hood. Met Crash and pooches too.
1 PM

XC Skiing 2:45:37 [3] 20.08 km (7.3 kph) +375m

Fantastic backcountry bushwhack ski right from the door with Bash.
Perfect bluebird windless day, -3 or so.

We went through Palgrave, through Reddington golf course, rail trail down to Albion and back through the wheelie woods. A mix of breaking trail, rough footprints, and some tracks so good they feel machine groomed. Albion was in good shape too.

Friday Feb 15 #

My Guatemala blog is now updated with some better pics.
Warning- long with lots of pics. May need to get a coffee.
12 PM

XC Skiing 1:27:32 [2] 10.74 km (7.4 kph) +196m

Hockleycrest with Bash. Blustery winds had blown in the tracks with soft snow and my skin skis were slower than Bash’s crowns. Nice in the protected areas, and great to ski these wonderful trails again close to home.

XC Skiing 1:05:00 [3]

Decent conditions and nice tracks for a commute with AD, just getting a little soft on the way home.

Wednesday Feb 13 #

XC Skiing 55:00 [3]

Breaking trail with the big boy in lovely fresh snow. I missed this!
Nasty strong winds so I had to stick to the main trails that are cleared of dying Ash trees. I detoured slightly into the side trail leading to K-bash, but it's terrible in there- half the trees are dying ash.

Strength 1:00:00 [2]

Workout 3 plus rehab and core.

Strength 33:00 [3]

Night ski home. My tracks were almost gone.

Tuesday Feb 12 #

XC Skiing 1:10:00 [3]

Nice ski to work in quick conditions on thin powder over ice with AD, and a slow chug home breaking trail in rain, ice pellets and snow.

Monday Feb 11 #

Running 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: La Sportiva Uragano

Nice to be back at it. Commute with the boys- a few cm of snow on hard ice.
