Got the ‘bent set up with the winter wheels and studded tires.
Great ride around Palgrave. Hard going in the breakable crust in Palgrave West, but the Palgrave East singletrack is all packed and re-frozen, and I had summer-like grip.

Finished off the Holz Hausen wood pile.

All out of storage for now.

Workout 2, rehab and core and some new shoulder work from Thumbs-of-death. Apparently it’s the long head of the bicep insertion, not a joint problem.

Another tough lumpy run in, with AD
I had a bit of Fomo seeing the nice tracks in Palgrave East, but too much of my commute isn't skiable right now in the last section.

Slushy run home in the dark and pelting rain. Lovely. At least my feet stayed dry, even in slush-lakes.

Ski in to work in heavily falling snow with the big boy.
Our tracks were gone on the return trip. A bit wet and slow, but the base is building up!

Note- R knee a bit sore from skate yesterday.

Classic loop at Highlands on skin skis. Bluebird day!

XC ski-Skate 44:10 [3] 10.3 km (14.0 kph) +193m

Switched to skate, back up and did 2 laps. Great skate conditions, but my knee said that was enough offset for one day.
