Costa Rica wth Bro for his 50th birthday trip.
Guided hikes today.

“Hanging Bridges” - easy hiking on hard-surfaced trails in epic forest with lots of mid-canopy suspension bridges. Great biologist guide really made the trip.

Next up- hike to see a famous waterfall. Busy but amazing. Good climb back up.

After a fancy lunch it was off to hike the lava flow from the 1968 volcano. Pounding rain and no view, but some interesting biology.

Good ride in with the big guy on a firm surface, but it was getting mooshy in spots on the return trip and I had to get off and hike-a-bike on some steep hills.

Out with both dogs. We got a nice firm layer of round ice pellets, then snow on top- just not enough to ski.
The fat bikers were having a good time- we ran with 3 of them for a while.

Took advantage of the good sliding conditions to sled-haul 4 loads of logs over the summit of Trail to the Summit, and got 3 of them down to the woodshed. I could barely budge the first load, so I had to do multiple half-loads to the top of the main trail. Split a couple of ridiculously tough logs too.
