Training Log Archive: 'Bent

Woo hoo, a different trail! Bash and I went to the Dingle trail. First time out or Palgrave in the Pandemic. Dogs had a blast with new smells and creeks to swim in.

Apparently Palgrave was a zoo. Albion opened and was also packed.
Our back yard however was nice and peaceful for a ride with the pedal mower. Also did a whack of yard work, removing tick-sanctuaries.

Note- I saw Brody sniffing around our asparagus patch. Upon closer examination, he’d eaten all the new shoots down to the ground, and even dug in to get the earliest ones. Almost ready to call the animal shelter...

2 dog run. Farm dogs had a bark-off.

Spin around Palgrave East.
Met the Oak Ridges Trail captain doing some maintenance on my return.

Workout 3 plus core etc.

Such a nice day but I had to go to town and office for some stuff.
Got the dogs out for a run after, and ran into Adrian Makurat and his girls!

First lap Palgrave West with Bazingadog, then Palgrave East. Ran into a huge deer on Salty Steven. He wasn't social distancing well- scared the heck out of me as he crashed by a few meters away. Chilly day- cold fingers had me turn back before doing the doubletrack on Palgrave NE.

Workout 1 plus rehab, some core and kb

Short jog with the dogs- AD’s shoulder was a touch sore after yesterday.
