With S around Peoples SP parking lot. Coupled with a picnic. Not too many others there, mostly mothers with small children taking opportunity on a lovely day to get out of the house, I suppose. The river was full of men fishing.
Bought gas in New Hartford on way home for only $2.099! Haven't paid that little since 1973 when the oil crisis hit. I do remember paying only 34 cents/gallon in 1970 on the Navy base in San Diego in 1970, though -- high test at that.
And Canton stations are still selling regular for $2.399, just a few miles down the road. Go figure.
