Easy Run 14:04 [3] 2.0 mi (7:02 / mi)
shoes: Saucony progrid ride 2
After twenty minutes yesterday I had a nervous 24h to see if there was any reaction from my foot - there was not and it felt fine.
Tonight I done an out and back 2 mile loop - this felt very easy and the pace was not too slow.
Looking at the 3 goals I set myself when I got injured:
1.Maintain CV fitness
2. Get stronger
3. Lose a few Kgs
1 & 2 were a success, I feel at least as stong from a CV perspective. I am certainly much, much stronger.
Goal number 3 was a disaster and I am now 80Kgs, when I got injured I was just over 75. So I feel good running just heavy, I'm not going to stress over this and just let it happen.
I'm not going to relax and say that I'm 'back' until I have completed a few weeks of consistent running.
Keeping an eye on the Attackpoint milage and taking on board Keiths advice of consustent and unbroken training.
