A new long run record! Stratford-upon-avon canal Somewhat inspired by Rob and Steves words from The Dragons Back DVD along with Daves big win.I just didn't feel like stopping today, took it very easy throughout and enjoyed the time on feet. Great to run with no top on for a change.
The last 48 hours being a blur due to mild opioids, whisky, wine and diazepam in an attempt to get this horrific tooth pain under control. I felt like I had recovered enough to run today. The tooth pain is 90% better but still dont know what is causing it. I've not been able to get an emergency appointment all weekend and no dentist could safely drill into my mouth as it is surrounded by cold-sores.
Besides this I really enjoyed running today and am hoping things continue to improve so I can session tomorrow.
Gastro is now over and I'm now working 9-5 on psychiatry for four months, which I hope will allow for consistent training.
The goal is to run sub 4 for 1500, and right now I'm a world away from that. Consistent fast sessions and at least 40-50 miles along with lots of races.
